Procrastination is one of the most common and deadliest of diseases and its toll on success and happiness is heavy. -Wayne W. Dyer
PROCRASTINATION IS THE BAD HABIT OF PUTTING OFF UNTIL THE DAY AFTER TOMORROW WHAT SHOULD HAVE BEEN DONE THE DAY BEFORE YESTERDAY.
For an achiever, perhaps the most dangerous, most destructive habit of all is procrastination, for it robs you of your initiative. When you put things off once, it’s easier to put them off again, until the habit is so firmly ingrained that it cannot be easily broken. Sadly, the effects of the habit of procrastination are also cumulative. Its cure is obvious-action. You’ll be surprised how quickly you begin to feel better about yourself and your situation when you get going on something-anything. As British prime minister and author Benjamin Disraeli said, “Action may not always bring happiness; but there is no happiness without action.”

It is a foregone conclusion that you will never reach great heights of success if you perform at high levels only when others are watching you. The most exacting standards of performance should be those you set for yourself, not those set by others for you. When your expectations for yourself are higher than your boss’s expectations for you, you will never have to worry about job security. If you work to your highest standards, the promotions will take care of themselves.

Tell everyone you know:
“My happiness depends on me, so you’re off the hook.”
And then demonstrate it. Be happy, no matter what they’re doing. Practice feeling good, no matter what. And before you know it, you will not give anyone else responsibility for the way you feel — and then, you’ll like everyone. Because the only reason you don’t like them, is because you’re using them as your excuse to not feel good.
PS. It’s raining cats and dogs in Kansas!!! YeeHaw

Each of us has two distinct choices to make about what we will do with our lives. The first choice we can make is to be less than we have the capacity to be. To earn less. To have less. To read less and think less. To try less and discipline ourselves less. These are the choices that lead to an empty life. These are the choices that, once made, lead to a life of constant apprehension instead of a life of wondrous anticipation.
And the second choice? To do it all! To become all that we can possibly be. To read every book that we possibly can. To earn as much as we possibly can. To give and share as much as we possibly can. To strive and produce and accomplish as much as we possibly can. All of us have the choice.
To do or not to do. To be or not to be. To be all or to be less or to be nothing at all.
Like the tree, it would be a worthy challenge for us all to stretch upward and outward to the full measure of our capabilities. Why not do all that we can, every moment that we can, the best that we can, for as long as we can?
Our ultimate life objective should be to create as much as our talent and ability and desire will permit. To settle for doing less than we could do is to fail in this worthiest of undertakings.
Results are the best measurement of human progress. Not conversation. Not explanation. Not justification. Results! And if our results are less than our potential suggests that they should be, then we must strive to become more today than we were the day before. The greatest rewards are always reserved for those who bring great value to themselves and the world around them as a result of who and what they have become.
Yes, we are still here. Even though I put my cell phone in the washing machine and our internet server went down…We Are Still Alive!
I am so happy to be back among ‘em!! As our kids say, YeeYee!!??
Everything is on the up and up here, hope all is well with everyone else. Since the last time I posted we have shipped quite a few cattle and replaced them. We have new cattle in the pens and then also cattle that we’ve turned out and are rotating on pastures. The grass is wonderful, but if it decides to rain that would be great. Seems like we are never satisfied. Rain…Don’t Rain…Rain just a little…Don’t Rain so much…We really need some rain…When is it going to stop raining…Is it ever going to rain again…If it doesn’t stop raining…Oh well, the way I look at it is It’s going to rain and It’s going to stop raining, we just don’t know when. Smile & Enjoy It, Cause We Can’t Do Nothin’ About It Any How!!! I’m Sure Glad to Be Back…Have A Great Week
Remember happiness doesn’t depend upon who you are or what you have; it depends solely upon what you think. -Dale Carnegie

Be careful the environment you choose for it will shape you; be careful the friends you choose for you will become like them.
