  Everything You Hear Isn’t True!

Don’t believe everything you hear!

If you hear something positive about another, embrace it.

If you hear something negative about someone, be quiet.  Observe.  Learn the truth for yourself.

If you want to keep yourself in check, here’s a helpful tip:  Always talk about others as if they were in the same room with you, listening.

This technique will give you immediate perspective on what you should and should not be saying.

Life Doesn’t Have to Be Hard!

Life doesn’t have to be hard.   Few know this.   Most people think they need to fight and struggle.  Not so.  You can let life unfold.  The secret is to focus on what you want, do what is before you to make it happen, and trust the process.   Yes, life can be hard.   But it can also be easy.   Most of the difference is in how you look at what is happening.   If you regard running a marathon as hard, you won’t find it very easy.  But if you enjoy running and consider a marathon a personal challenge you welcome, then you will regard running it as easy.  Yes, you may sweat and struggle and pant along the way, but you’ll enjoy it.   As with everything else, the choice is yours.

Have a great weekend! It's Friday

“The secret of success is learning how to use pain and pleasure instead of having pain and pleasure use you. If you do that, you’re in control of your life. If you don’t, life controls you.” - Anthony Robbins

Drink, Steal, Swear & Lie
(FOUR RULES TO LIVE BY)

I met this guy while I was in Albuquerque and he has a motto he lives by everyday. He said listen carefully and live by these 4 rules:

 Drink, Steal, Swear, & Lie.

I was shaking my head no, but he then told me to listen while he explained his four rules. So here they are:

a.. Drink from the “everlasting cup” every day.

b.. Steal a moment to help someone that is in worse shape than you are.

c.. Swear that you will be a better person today than yesterday.

d.. And last, but not least, when you lie down at night thank God you live in America and have freedom.

Finally…these steers are “For Sale”

They weigh 495# so, if you are interested please contact us, or if you are looking for something else please let us know!

“There is little difference in people, but that little difference makes a big difference. The little difference is attitude. The big difference is whether it is positive or negative.”W. Clement Stone

Good Morning!

I had a little bit of camera problems this weekend, so the pictures of the cattle that we have “For Sale” have not been posted yet.  Hopefully I will get them up this afternoon or tonight.  They are 495# black steers.  They have been turned out on grass and are ready to go anywhere.  Please check back later today, I will do my best to have the pictures of them ready.

Reaching out to those people who feel far more comfortable in a saddle than a pew.

Some people in Texas were having trouble with all those shalls and shall nots in the 10 Commandments. Folks there just aren’t used to talking in those terms. So, some folks out in west Texas got together and translated the “King James” into the “King Ranch” language:

Ten Commandments, Cowboy Style.

Cowboy’s Ten Commandments posted on the wall at Cross Trails Church in Fairlie, TX

(1) Just one God.

(2) Honor yer Ma & Pa.

(3) No telling tales or gossipin’.

(4) Git yourself to Sunday meeting.

(5) Put nothin’ before God.

(6) No foolin’ around with another fellow’s gal.

(7) No killin’.

(8) Watch yer mouth.

(9) Don’t take what ain’t yers.

(10) Don’t be hankerin’ for yer buddy’s stuff.

This is cowboy church — straight-shooter, sinner-saved-by-grace theology throwing a rope out to the lost, the lonely and those who long for an unvarnished faith.

No fancy duds. No politicized preaching. No denominational hair-splitting. It’s come as you are, in spirit, spurs and Stetsons. It’s bucking bulls and plumbing Bibles in a dusty arena or dropping a hard-won dollar in a boot on the back table after a punchy sermon.

Fundamentally, it’s an attitude, whether you ride a bronc or a computer keyboard.

What Is church really ? — a transmission vehicle to let people hear about the saving grace of Jesus.

It’s the horse that God rides in on.

“Little minds have little worries, big minds have no time for worries.” - Ralph Waldo Emerson

Today has been such a busy day!  Busy in a good way.

The weather has been great!  I ran in the house for a few minutes today, but I was right back out ’cause it was so nice today and had alot to get done.

This afternoon we sorted up some calves (after they mowed the grass!) and I will have weights and pictures posted in the morning.  These are some steers that are ready to go anywhere.  Please check back mid-morning tomorrow.

We have been receiving cattle daily.  Chance is bringing a load home tonight.

Just as soon as we receive these calves they are being worked with daily, processed, and turned out on grass within a few days.  If you have any questions,  please contact us.
