Wednesday!

I’ve had quite a few people wonderin’ where I’ve been…I haven’t been anywhere!!! Just taking care of things!!We’ve been receiving new calves, processing, shipping and just staying on top of things!I apologize for not taken any new pictures lately but my camera has been giving me some trouble.

Just to catch everyone up on everything…

We had a great Thanksgiving. Jack’s sister had the family over to her house & it was real nice. She is a great cook!!

We had our first snow the day after Thanksgiving. It was so pretty. On the ground for a few hours and then gone. That’s the way I like it. I do have a few pictures of that! I will have to post them later.

Casey is getting BIGGER…She’s not going to be happy that I said it that way, but I just don’t know how else to word it. She is due December 15, 2007. It is suppose to be a girl…if so, …Avery Jane McNeill. I can hardly wait! J

We are headin’ outta here Thursday for a conference. The Grazier’s Money Conference that were are going to is in Jackson, Mississippi. Probably about a 10 hour drive for us. Chance is going to school in Garden City, KS but he’s coming home to take care of the place while we’re gone. If it weren’t for him being able to come home for a few days Jack & I wouldn’t both be able to go together. Thanks Chance!!

I should have my camera up & running in the next few days. Just as soon as I do I will get some pictures posted. We have been shipping quite a few cattle lately, but just haven’t been able to get them posted. We are going to have some real nice heifers sorted up the first of the week. If you are interested please give Jack a call @ 620.330.2915

Have a great week!!

Don’t Quit

When things go wrong, as they sometimes will,
When the road you’re trudging seems all uphill,
When funds are low and the debts are high,
And you want to smile but you have to sigh,
When care is pressing you down a bit,
Rest if you must, but don’t you quit.

Life is queer with its twists and turns,
As every one of us sometimes learns,
And many a failure turns about,
When he might have won if he’d stuck it out.
Don’t give up, though the pace seems slow -
You may succeed with another blow.

Often the goal is nearer than
It seems to a faint and faltering man;
Often the struggler has given up
When he might have captured the victor’s cup,
And he learned too late, when the night slipped down,
How close he was to the golden crown.

Success is failure turned inside out -
The silver tint of the clouds of doubt,
And you never can tell how close you are -
It may be near when it seems afar;
So stick to the fight when you’re hardest hit -
It’s when things seem worst that you mustn’t quit.
