Merry Christmas!
MERRY CHRISTMAS!
I know I’m a few days late with my Christmas wishes, but it’s the thought that counts!
What could be more precious?! This is the best little baby I have ever been around. (And I’m not just saying that!) I haven’t had her in the feed truck yet, but it’s not going to be much longer. Chance is itchin’ to get her on the horse, too so I’m sure if it’s up to him he’ll have her ridin’ before he has to go back to school!! She’s so fun to be around!!
Avery Jane McNeill (16 days old)
Chance has been home for the Holidays. He bought a few cattle of his own & then he also put a load together for a customer that he’s caring for. The weather has been pretty fair…we’ve had some nice sunny days, but also some snowy wet weather. Most people think this means you have to have sick cattle, but our cattle have been healthy through it all. We received more cattle than we had expected one day and we were short on some vaccine, (it was cold and sleeting, too) so that meant we weren’t going to get them all processed that day. Chance was a little worried about not getting them processed right away, but since we worked with the cattle it didn’t matter one bit. We have not had any problems and it is all because we continue to work with the cattle daily—rain, snow, sun!! It’s A Great Life!
