Thursday

We’ve been buying cattle, processing cattle, feeding cattle, sorting cattle, selling cattle and working with cattle.  Needless to say we’ve been perty busy!  We haven’t done much custom backgrounding for quite sometime, but we’ve been having people ask us if we’d get some calves ready for them.  We said YES and they’ve been rollin ‘em in ever since.  We are still buying cattle for ourselves, too.  In fact we just sorted up some steers that are weighing 525# and are ready to move on. We also have some heifers that are ready.  It’s been about a week since we weighed them, but they are going to weigh 360#.  They are really nice.  If you are interested give us a call.  620-330-2915

Chance has been home for the summer and his girlfriend (from Nebraska…well I didn’t mean it like he has another one somewhere else…well, atleast I don’t think so!) has been visiting, too.  She was goofing around and sprained her foot while she was here.  Well, Chance was playing around on her crutches and she warned him that’s not a good idea…you know, kinda a superstitious thing.  Two days later Chance’s horse fell with him and broke his foot and he had to end up having some screws put in it.  A couple days after that I caught him getting back on his horse.  From a mother’s point of view…Not smart!!Steamed
